A place to come and experience God

For 140 years St. Peter's by-the-Sea has existed on the coastal waters of Narragansett, offering believers and seekers a place to come and experience God. Our history is the stuff of novels, both glorious and tragic, but through it all, the people of St. Peter's have maintained their faith in the truth and power of God's love, as expressed most perfectly in the person of Jesus Christ. It is at the heart of who we are. It shapes us. It defines us. We are-all of us-created by that love, recipients of that love, and called to share that love with the rest of the world.

When you come to St. Peter's, you will meet a lot of really good people. We are rich and we are poor. We are old and we are young. We are lifelong Christians and we are just finding our spiritual footing. We are all sorts of things. So there is room here for you. There is a place for you, whoever you are, however you are, wherever you are. We aren't perfect, so you shouldn't feel the need to be either.
