Social Justice

At St. Peter’s we see it as our sacred duty to convey the radical love of God to a world that so desperately needs it. This happens through the work of our Food Pantry, which distributes food to hungry neighbors. It occurs when we work on a building project with FaithBuild, which is part of Habitat for Humanity. It happens each Christmas when we collect toys and clothes for children in need through Adopt-a-Family. It happens in multi-generational mission trips around New England, when our youth and adults are sent out to serve those in need. It happens in the way we use our resources, because we know that justice requires careful environmental stewardship. In dozens of ways all year long the people of St. Peter’s work to build God’s Kingdom by seeking and serving Christ in all persons, loving our neighbors as ourselves.
